Cake for my combined birthday/PhD completion/leaving do. Took six hours to complete (it was a far too ambitious project), then was demolished in about half an hour!

Yes, I did turn a fault(line) in the icing into a breach of the fourth wall. Rarity was going to have a needle and thread anyway, but I'd never worked with such a massive rectangular cake before and I'm awful at putting on the base layer of fondant at the best of times.
