Tension

My half of an art trade with featuring Alienorb and Orth in the middle of a great battle. I wanted to capture a slightly muted moment, gore-wise, so at this point in time, Orth is considering taking a big chomp of face food. Alienorb, meanwhile, is getting ready to shove back his claws and retreat pretty damn fast. We'll assume that this precedes him chopping Orth's hand off.

Sorry about the crappy scaling - I didn't realise Orth was so much bigger than Alienorb when I originally draw this out in pen. Although I guess you don't see too much of his body, so it's kinda' okay. Hope you like the image, alienorb!

This picture probably features the best saliva I've ever drawn (around the end of the tongue in particular). I'm not sure how much of an achievement that really is, but it's something. ^___^
