Lady of the Heath 1

Photo of a painting I just finished. I shall redo it and upload it in a larger size when there's something resembling natural light coming through the windows (am also annoyed that you can tell exactly which point the flash hit straight on). This just wasn't going to fit in the scanner; besides, I don't think our scanners do too well with texturised paintings.

A Scottish Wildcat, hissing. Or maybe just meowing - she doesn't look particularly angry. I'm sure it's totally indistinguishable from a regular tabby (wildcats are distinguished by features like their tail-banding, the dark stripe along their spine, their general size and their particularly large canines - couldn't really fit much of that into this painting, for obvious reasons).
