A charcoal drawing depicting the head of a hellish steed - a ragged combination of bone and armour. Mainly inspired by George Stubbs' anatomical studies of horse corpses. One day I'd really love to draw this creature's body in full.
You lost your dinner? Did a dog steal it? Just kidding.
Heh, you know, I really -should- do the body one of these days... Maybe I can placate you with the full body drawings of several other creepy cretins that'll be coming up once I've uploaded some of my recent art. [And if that wasn't an obvious plug, I don't know what is ^____^]
Hrm - well, it could be that the horror of carnivores is somewhat banal - it's been established so many times that they're scary and dangerous that it doesn't seem uncanny in the least that their skulls should be creepy. With herbivores, they're so cute and benign in life that seeing them stripped down to skeletons makes those skeletons extra-freaky.
